Lead Project Manager
Summary :
This position works with project management, planning and scheduling in the location and has some supervisory responsibility in the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible for the performance of certain Project Managers / Coordinators; schedule and manage work activities ensuring that job requirements are met Understand project management duties and perform all duties as required (back up, work spikes etc.) Works with Plant Planner for efficient scheduling Pricing in HRMS Responsible for employee development; coach, mentor, train, and conduct performance reviews Responsible for HR functions related to the PM group; participate in hiring process, discipline process Foster strong relationships with internal customers (Sales, Design, Divisional office and Assembly Division) and external customers Travel to customer locations and MD facilities as needed Support new technology (software, hardware and new systems.) Support and participate in process improvements Direct and participate in launches, special project pricing and project management and other projects as designated by Management. Other duties as assigned Supervisory

The position supervises selected Project Managers in the location. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Four-year degree in a business or related field from an accredited academic institution preferred. In addition, 5 to 10 years of POP industry experience. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of and basic computer skills, and demonstrate proficiency in AS400, WRMD Proprietary Systems, Word and Excel programs.The Lead Project Manager position requires effective written and oral communication skills, good organizational skills and the ability to work in both an office and plant environment.
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
